Nel rush finale il numero delle Candidature ai Golden Globe per i Film e Serie TV è così distribuito:
Al primo posto primeggia Marriage Story con 6 candidature, seguito al secondo posto da The Irishman e Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood con 5 candidature.
Poco distaccati Joker e The Two Popes con 4candidature, mentre 1917, Knives Out, Parasite e Rocketman hanno ottenuto 3 candidature.
Invece con solo 2 candidature troviamo: Bombshell, Dolemite Is My Name , The Farewell, Frozen 2, Harriet, Jojo Rabbit, The Lion King, Little Women e Pain and Glory.
